Heather's Swim From Moville to Portstewart 13 Miles!

Taken From Heathers Blog

On 27th July 2016 I plan to fulfill a lifelong dream and swim 13 miles from Moville, Donegal to Portstewart accompanied by a boat and according to ILSDA & CSA rules. My main aim is to complete it and have fun along the way, but as this will probably the biggest challenge I will ever do, I wish to use the opportunity to raise money for the fund I have established for Portstewart and the RNLI Portrush Branch (50/50). I will be grateful for any donations and thank you in advance for whatever you can give.

Sponsoring on this site is safe, quick and easy. I wish to raise as much money as I possibly can for:

Portstewart Fund (administered by Outdoor Recreation NI) - to encourage and facilitate outdoor recreation in the coastal community of Portstewart, to benefit people of all ages and abilities and inspire future generations.

The Royal National Lifeboat Institute (RNLI) - to support the largest charity that saves lives at sea and in turn supporting the Portrush lifeboat station who protect those on the coast of Portstewart.

Thank you so much for whatever you are able to give, from £1 to £100 every penny will literally make a difference to somebodies life. To find out more about how I hope the Portstewart Fund will help people, please visit my website at www.swimforportstewart.com.

I wouldnt object to some pre event mini challenges to raise more money if anybody wishes to propose any!

Thank you so much in advance.

Portrush Yacht Club will be supporting Heather and her Support team by providing Kayakers and a support RIB for the Swim so Please if you could click the Donate link and give what you can to Heather's Challenge!
