Portrush Sub-Aqua Club (Skerrie Scuba Squad)
Skerrie Scuba Squad is the Diving Section of Portrush Yacht Club and has been in existence since the Yacht Club began. The British Sub Aqua Club is our umbrella organisation and provides access to good training.
We are a very active section with winter training in the local pool on Wednesday nights and diving on Sundays. We dive all year round-yes even in the snow!-and a few of us manage to have trips abroad for some warm water fun. The diving on our doorstep is varied and in good visibility rivals dive sites around the UK and Ireland. There is enough variety to suit all levels of diver and all interests from photography to wreck hunting. All training is carried out by our own instructors which makes it very affordable for all and with access to 2 club boats and members boats we certainly get plenty of choice for dives.
New divers from 17 years up are always welcome, whether you want to learn or are already qualified in another organisation. Call at the Yacht Club for contact info or email firstname.lastname@example.org. You can find uson Facebook and keep up to date with our activities.
Ordinary membership £90; Family membership £110; Associate Membership £60;Junior £25. All payable by March..
